It's official...

I'm old. This morning instead of wearing the very pretty, sexy shoes that matched my outfit, I chose the comfortable, boring ones. I've been dreading this day.

ah...thats nothin..haha...we found out this weekend that we are gonna be GRANDPARENTS!!

the first few hours were a little awkward as hubby decided he was still the same person he was BEFORE the news as after...haha..he did NOT need to take Geritol and use a cane...

we are thrilled now. :-)
but it does add a certain "something" to our identity...our baby girl is a mommy now...wow.

Welcome to the club. We recently became grandparents. I went out a couple of weeks ago and bought a pair of slippers at Sears. The next time the kids were visiting and saw the new footwear, they told me, "just because you've become a grandfather, it doesn't mean you have to go out and buy 'old man' slippers." ;)
